From Scissors to Canvas: Rediscovering True Creativity
As a child, I always dreamed of attending the graphic arts school, but at that time, craftsmanship transitioned into computer work.
That went against my sense and vision of creativity.
I chose a career in hairdressing instead and feel fortunate to say that I get to be creative every day in a different way in my own salon. However, nothing beats paint and a canvas.
Losing track of time and immersing myself in creating something special by pouring my feelings into it… that is a truly wonderful feeling.
From an early age, my curiosity about the world led me beyond familiar horizons. Traveling extensively, I immersed myself in diverse cultures, living among local communities, sharing in their rituals, and volunteering wherever I could. The same goes for taking care of animals or see them in their natural habitat.
These experiences shaped my understanding of colors, emotions, and expressions—elements that now flow naturally into my paintings. Every canvas is a reflection of the places I have seen, the people I have met, and the deep connection I feel with human expression and the beauty of the unknown
